Car seats are 5 years. Cots not so much- you just have to be wary about safety with second hand cots etc due to gaps in the sides etc. As long as you research and make sure thr standards are still 'up to date' then its fine. Prams, the straps can go brittle although im unsure on how long they should last. As for bottles and plastics etc- if they start to discolor throw them out. Hope that helps
Yes. Cribs, strollers, car seats. Well cribs dont "expire" but after so long of being used they can become rickety and dangerous, and others get recalled. You can no longer buy drop side cribs bc they caused infant injury and death. Umm. Bittles need to be replaced when after you clean them they still have a bit of a gunky look to them. Also bottle nipples end up needing replaced. High chairs do too, and booster seats lol. Basically anything you have to put together.
When I looked into it carseats last five to ten years after buying them from like Walmart. If you go to the thrift store or yard sale is the only time I would be worried.
