cervix check...

Yesterday I had my cervix checked to see if I was dilated any, which  I barely was a 1. But I found it extremely painful and I cramped all day yesterday and still today.is that supposed to happen? I know that after getting checked its normal to spot but should it cause pain?

I got checked yesterday too... I was having what I think may have been Braxton-Hicks. When he checked, he said that I'm @ about a 4.5/5 cm. He said that isn't normal. I'm 9 months! What's considered "normal?!"

I hope it helps me dilate because that exam was painful and if I dont dilate within the next two weeks then I have to get a csection because they dont want to induce me because baby is small and it will cause her too much stress.

It is normal.  I always cramp after being checked. Sad part is, rven after all thr cramping, it did not help me dilate :(
