It took 30 days for me to get my 1st period after my D&C in Dec., 32 days the next month, and then 26 days....I was always regular at 28 days before I became pregnant.....It is possible to get pregnant immediately after a D&C, although not advised....I was told to wait b/c if the new embryo implants in the same spot as the miscarried embryo, there is a higher risk of M/C again...
As far as having another M/C goes....there's always a 25% chance of M/C in all pregnancies, unfortunately......Startling statistic really.  Give yourself a little time to heal......Best wishes and I'm sorry for your loss.

I had a d&c at the end of November and it took about six weeks for me to get my first period, the second one took another six weeks. Previously I had 28 day cycles. Hang in there and yes it is possible to get pregnant without having your period return. Follow your doctors advise some tell you to wait others don't. I think if for some reason your period does not return (provided your aren't pregnant) there are some things you can do to jump start your cycles. Talk with you doctor about those as well. M/C can really wreck havoc with your body try to be patient (I know it is difficult) and realize that it may take some time for your body to get back to its normal.

It is recommended to have 3 normal cycles before trying again as with any m/c.  That way hopefully your body has had time to heal.  Waiting a couple monthes before concieving again would probably be beneficial to you and increase your chances of having a healthy pregnancy.  Good luck!!
