choosing a midwife in canada

Does anyone know how this works? Do I still need an obgyn? Any other ftm picking the natural way?

I just searched local midwives where I live and then applied. She got back to me made my first appointment with me and that was that. No you don't need an obgyn medical only pay for one primary care for your birth. And yes I live in Canada. Hope this helps :)

Midwives are pretty much OBGYNs they just do things slightly different.

My friend was able to call midwife centers, and didn't need an ob. She set up appointments and found one she really liked. Midwifes are basically your obgyn, just they do home deliveries unlike obgyn.
