My oldest son is 9 and I have taught him and our 4 year old to pull their skin back even tho they are both done. So they pull it back when they bath. I have also taught my 21 month old who is not circumsized to pull his skin back. Hes still little so I do it but when he gets older he knows how. It's a personal choice so do what you feel is best.

Its a personal decision. There are pros and con so some research about it. I made the choice to have both my boys circumsised mainly because I have some male friends who aren't and they hate it. I also have a friend who didn't have her one son done and he ended up having to get it done at age 9 because the foreskin was too tight and causing him a lot of pain. It ended up being a very traumatic thing for him.

My husband is not circumcised, his 5 year old brother and his sisters 10 year old son and 6 month old son are not circumcised and none of the have problems. So if this baby is a boy he will not be circumcised!

If I have a boy I will be getting him done. My boyfriend got his done when he was first born so I have a boy his thing thing will be snippet and personally I think its better for a boy to be circumcised because I heard to many bad stories about them not being circumcised cause it gets infected

Do some research and talk to a doctor ^ educate yourself before you assume. It's a personal choice yes but you can't argue with proven facts that's absurd

I am personally very against it. No hate on the mums that choose to do it. But really they say stuff like, it prevents infection? Lol. No, it's opening up a wound and leaving them susceptible to an infection. Plus, it takes away some of the sensitivity in their bits. And to put a knife to a newborn baby's penis just seems horrible to me.. I would never ever do it. Because if my child turns around to me later in life and says why didn't you circumcise me? I can give him all of the reasons listed above and he can make his own choice as to if he wants it done. But if I had it done, there would be nothing he could do about it. The idea of the whole thing just makes my skin crawl.

My son is getting it done. He wont remember the pain and we will thank me when he gets old
My brother didn't get it done till he wad 15 it 16 and he said that even though it hurt him he wont regret it. He despised my mom for not getting it when he was just a baby.

I have seen it done and its not so bad it also makes them less likely to get infections later.  Just ask them to put numbing cream on it like an hour before and they will also go over how to take care of it afterwards.

Dont agree with it unless it is nesassary, not just to keep it clean, i have two sons 9 and 7 never had any problems, they dont do it in the uk just for cleanliness, they only do it for medical reason, as for doing it after they are born is just wrong in my shes, but each to their own

Personally we got our sons done mostly because my husband had to have his done while I was pregnant and he insisted on it for that reason but we also no way to many people who have had to have it done as adults so it just seems better to have it done at birth
