So my question is I had signed up for the 5 week class the hospital offers u to take but the thing is i know I'm having a csection on August 15th which will be my 2nd the first being almost 8 yrs ago.. well Wat I'm asking is so u think I will need to take this class even tho they will be teaching a lot about vaginal births & breathing techniques etc. What do u think

Ya I dont think its necessary to take a birthing class since you are having a c section. Especially one that is 5 weeks long. The one offered at my hospital is just a 1 day class. But as previous poster said I would look into something more geared toward scheduled c-sections and see what is offered. You should be able to get information from your drs office or labor and delivery at the hospital what they suggest. Good luck to you!

I would take a class more focused on postpartum recovery and infant care. What would be even better is if you could find a child birth class in your area specifically geared toward women having c-sections.
