cloth diapers

Any moms out there planning or have used cloth diapers? Since i got preggo i decided i want to use g diapers. Everyone thinks im crazy and that it wont last but financially its what is going to work best for us. I just really hate when my family has no faith in me or my decisions on how i plan to raise and take care of my baby. Well i guess i just want to hear your imput on cloth diapers and if it worked or didnt and what brand you used or are going to use. Thanks ladies

I plan on using them. I have a friend who uses cloth and she swears by them.

I used cloth with first child and will again with this one. I actually make my cloth diapers from diaper material bought from amish. So yea old school lol. So I have 23 of those going into this baby and bought 7 alva baby cloth diapers off amazon with the bamboo inserts fit 6-30lbs etc they are so cute lol. Those will be for when we go places :-) old fashioned diapers aren't really good for that lol

Thats what i like about the g diapers when at home i plan to use the washable inserts and on the go the disposable flushable inserts

I just ordered the whole set up and it comes with newborn diapers with the dip in front to use until the umbilical cord falls off. Glad to know that other moms use them and stand by them

Im going to try them. Ot was actually my boyfriends idea. We'll use them while at home and use disposable diapers when we go out.

I'm going to try them out, I have 4 already and they are bum genius all in ones, my sister in law cloth diapers religiously and loves it. I'm not going to do it until the umbilical cord falls off though, heard it's easier to wait that way.
