clothing during pregnancy

so im 17 and currently 28 weeks along and school is about to start. I've been shopping but afterwards i was very sad. i have a kinda small frame and my tummy is just out there. my mom told me that i will have to shop in the maternity section!!! does maternity wear really make you look huge because I honestly can't deal with drama when school gets back. I don't really know what to do

thanks everyone. my mom totally agrees with the yoga pants and predicted that i was going to end up wearing some type of maternity wear because of my frame. we will start school shopping next weekend so i hope all the places you guys suggested has something for me

I was a junior in highschool when I was pregnant with my first there is no way to completley avoid the drama of being a teen mom I got to the point where I didnt care anymore I embrased it. I am also small so it just look like I was smuggling a beach ball under myshirt lol I just bought xl shirts that were long enough im on my 3rd pregnancy now and have NEVER bought maternity clothes I did buy a bella band at target for 16$ which is just the elastic band u put over reg jeans so u can leave them unbuttoned and they look like ur just wearing a tank pulled over top of jeans. Anyway good luck and dont let other ppls negative out look get you down. You are aking responsibility for you actions buy choosing to have ur baby and ur not dropping out of school. I consider that very admirable.

I love that pants with the built in belly band that helps support your stomach and they are really cute now a days. Maternity clothes have gotten cutier over the years. You can find adorable tops that are more for teens now. Good luck. Ross has cheap and cute maternity clothes.

I know how u feel im 17 and started school monday and i only have 2 things to wear so i did wat my cousen said put on my old pants get a stretchy ruberband put ut through the buton holes then but them on the bottens it really works their not tight and it looks as it closed

I just wear yoga pants.  I don't know if you've seen that commercial or not but the trendy tops thing?  That looks like a tank top under it?  I actually wear those if I'm wearing jeans that I can't button lol I love those things though.  I thought they were the most rediculous thing I had ever seen but they work great.  I can still wear a lot of my shirts

If there is a Ross near you go there. I got everything I needed for under 90$ and it was all super cute. I'm only 20 so for me it was like,I don't wanna give up my style you know,lol.  it is not true that it makes you look huge... You can but stuff to show bby off or you can by stuff that hides it. I got a bit of everything. Good luck!

Old navy and even walmart and target have some really cute clothes...they've definitely become more fasionable since my last 8 years ago.

I just wore yoga pants and flowy tops, that were tight on chest but flowy around my tummy. that way I can still wear em now ! khols has cute maternity tops. I just never bothered with the pants so dk bout those!

They have cute maternity wear...just Google some sites or look around...being pregnant doesn't mean you have to look like an old pregnant woman ha ha....and don't worry about what others say...sport your blessing proudly!!!

Forever 21 has an amazing maternity section & I really wouldn't suggest buying too many maternity clothes unless you plan on having another baby some time soon
