co sleeping

Yet again,  another person thought it was okay to co sleep with a child and resulted in the death of an 11 week old. I dont care how "alert" or "conscious" you think you are but im an er nurse and theres no such thing! Please use cribs , bassinets, pack n plays ect for your child to sleep in. Theyre better off sleeping alone! Such a tragity that can be prevented!!!!!! Women talk about co sleeping on here as of theyre any different from the mothers that babies die! Wake up people!

People are selfish for sleeping with their baby in the bed with them.  They know the risk of their baby passing and don't care.

I agree there is no reason to sleep with your baby like that, letting them sleep in their on bed builds indipendence, it's good for the baby and good for momy and daddy to have their own space, that's why there are baby monitors and monitor cameras if people insist on sleeping with their child at least get them a sleeper like this one I found on burlington online! It's so sad that children die because of parents being stubborn or ignorant :(
