at 8 weeks 2 days my babys heart beat was 170. sounds normal to me. but I agree unless you are tracking every day of your cycle its sometimes hard to know exactly how far along you are.

I thought I was about 10 or 11 weeks when i went for the first one and wsa told I was only 6wks & 6 days.  The dr said its becuase they couldn't tell exactly when i ovulated but as long as baby was in there I didn't care.

Congrats!

Thanks all! My husband and I had been trying for 5 years even took 2 rounds of clomid 3 years ago with no luck! So this is such a dream come true for us! I'm just a lil paranoid I think lol. But the Q&A really help ease my mind!

When I first found out, I thought I was 12 weeks until I had my ultrasound. They changed it to 7 weeks. So like AnnieBrooke said, you probably just got pregnant later.

You probably got pregnant a month later than you originally thought you did.  If the baby is measuring 8w2d and has a heart rate of 173, that all sounds fine.  You would have conceived about 6 weeks 2 days ago.
