Again, I don't know the test you are taking so don't take my word for 100% but this is what I would think. Two lines is going to be a positive and one line is going to be a negative. On some of the tests I have taken the lines will make a plus sign if it is positive and only one line means the test is working but it is negative for picking up the hormone pregnancy. when in doubt read the directions again and make sure, or even google online the exact type of test you have and see if there are better directions online or if you put the exact type on here someone might know better then me.
the directions say two lines is positive but it only has one, and it is light and dotted but it is on the positive side of the test. which is what threw me off.
I am not sure the type of test you took so that can make it harder. Some of the tests will have two windows, one is the control window to make sure it is working and will typically be a line, where the second window is the results window and will vary on what it shows to say if the test is positive or negative. What does your directions say a positive test should look like?
Most likely a positive but you aren't far enough along for it to really show clearly
