Feeling lonely..

Okay, I'm 16.5 and I was wondering if it would be wrong of me to date even though I have a baby. I put my son above all and I'm honestly a really good mom. I don't go out with my friends and I never ask anyone to watch my kid, (except my mom watches him while I attend school). And I do anything and everything for him. Even though I have him I still get really lonely socially.. Would it be selfish of me to like talk to a guy just to keep me company? And it also makes me so jealous that my child's father gets to do any/everything he wants to while I take care of my son 24/7..he never talks nor texts me to see how my child is doing or anything. He also gets to date and do whatever. I know he's my child and I made him, but doesn't every mom need like.. A break?

I'm 17 and 35 weeks pregnant, my baby girl is going to be everything to me but I'm going to make sure I have some me time. We all need breaks at some points so go ahead and date. Just don't bring the man around your baby unless it becomes serious and has been going on for along time (don't wanna confuse him with who daddy is.) and about your guy trouble, one day he'll regret what he missed and atleast you're being a great mom! Good-luck. :)

As long as you take care of your child dating shouldn't be a problem. I felt the same way once but now I'm perfectly fine. Just be careful who you let meet your son.

I think that it is really important to make some time for yourself when you're a mother! It in no way means that you love your child any less, you just need to make sure that you're also caring for yourself! Go do something for you every once in awhile :)
