contractions

Ladies who have had babies, what's been the best position for you to help deal with the pressure/pain when getting contractions. I cannot lay down while getting one! It so so much more painful which makes sleeping.next to impossible. I'm still getting contractions every 5 mins apart. Rocking back/ fourth and side to side seems to help. Just wondering what you ladies did to try and get some sleep with these!?

When I was admitted to the hospital the night before I had my son, I was having contractions the whole night every 2 mins, they were terrible, I had to stay in bed tho unless I just had to use the bathroom, but I didn't sleep at all, I felt like I was gona crawl out of ny skin tho, I would bring my knees up and move them side to side tho, that's all I could really do, I didn't sleep at all tho, but I was in real labor, maybe you can try what I did, idk if it will help, but it did a tiny bit for me lol

I rocked back and forth too, and also walking around when  I felt a contraction, it helps bring the baby farther into the birth canal, I hope this is it for you!!!
