But when you do get a real contraction
they'll be on your lower stomach and your lower back
They feel like period cramps but 20 times more painful
I'm 18 too
I had my first baby in February
I think your having braxton Hicks.
You'll know when you have a real contraction!
They feel nothing Like braxton Hicks
Braxton hicks more than likely. They can range from uncomfortable to painful. Usually they are irregular, not long in durations and go away with time or change in position. They're still contractions, just practice ones. True contractions will not ease up over time they will get more and more painful as time passes on.
Okay will do. thank you :)
If they get closer and more intense I would give your dr a call since your still a few weeks early.
Yeah, i can time them but sometimes i can't. Its just really uncomfortable.
are you able to time them? If you can than yes it may be a contraction. You can drink a big glass of water and lay on your left side or take a warm bath and if it relieves it than it was more than likely just braxton hicks contractions :)
Could also be Braxton hicks. I have had one child already but it's so hard for me to explain real contractions with this one I've had a lot of Braxton hicks and its been achy crampy tight . But real ones its a horrible pain to go threw surrounding your whole stomach.
Does your tiny gets tight? I've been feeling period-like cramps but they're mild and my stomach gets really hard. Its that a contraction?
I can just say what it feels like from my experience with my first. It felt like a period cramp but 10x worse. It was over my whole stomach and stopped me in my tracks and I couldn't talk through it. I just wanted to tense up and curl into a ball.
