So I'm only 16 and I went to prom with this guy and he isn't my bfn but we kinda... u know that night and now I've been throwing up and I missed my last period... I took a test the day after and it was negative but I'm scared.... plz help!

That's what I was thinking prom had to have been forever ago....take another test or go to the doctor.

School has been out for over a month now so it means she had sex a couple of months ago because that's when prom happened

A test won't work until, at the earliest, 5-6 days before your period is supposed to arrive. Now that you're late, take another test. If negative, test every three days until you get a positive, or get your period. Or just go to the doctor and get a blood test. If you aren't pregnant I advise getting on birth control if you plan to continue being sexually active. Also, please use condoms. You don't want to wind up with an std.

You can't get a positive preg test the day after you have sex. The egg is getting fertilized and implanting which can take a while. Since you're missed your period you should be able to get a positive test. Maybe see the doctor too.
