@lonnilynn that's great and so is the big sister kit it would be a big brother kit instead but those are great ideas especially the cuddling baby part my son is very jealous anyways so I can only imagine how he would be with that! Thanks ladies
My daughter will be two and a half when my second baby is born and I worry about how she will take it. So I read tons of blogs and one lady said don't have the first child walk into the room seeing you hold the baby. Because after not seeing their mom for a day or so it can already be hard plus seeing you all cuddled with another baby can be devastating. I'm going to send baby number two to the nursery and I'm going to have her walking down and help wheel "her" new baby to my room. I will have her hold her and ask her if I can hold the baby too. I've been thinking about this like crazy. Sorry if that was too detailed.
Lol well I have a daughter that will be 11 months when baby 2 is born. We are making a big sister kit just for her. Also nana will bring her to maternity room and we will be clapping and smiling as we guide her through "nice baby" and "touch baby soft" and all that. Make her feel accomplished :)
Or more babies..that would make more sense lol
