Labor story
So I know this is like ubber late but I had my baby on Friday Dec. 13th:) My water broke at like 11pm on the 12th and I was just laying in bed trying to go to sleep then I felt this warm gush and I thought maybe I was leaking something like my husbands sperm sorry tmi, but I woke my husband up and got up to go to the restroom and I had a trail of fluid following me to the bathroom so I knew it must have been my water. So we got ready to leave and go to the hospital and once we were there they checked to make sure it was my water. And sure enough it was. So they took me to my delivery room and checked me to see how far along I was and I was only 3cm but I wasn't have very many contractions that I could feel. So we all decided to take a nap, but it was hard with all the monitors and stuff. So I had the nurse give me some pain medicine and something to help me go to sleep. Then I woke up like two hours labor in a lot of pain, my contractions were like 1min apart, but they checked me again and I was only a 4 so I was having a hard time relaxing and doing my breathing so I got my epidural at like 10 in the morning and that's when I could finally go to sleep. I was progressing like every couple hours and the next time they checked me at 12 I was at a 6-7cm which is so weird cause I couldn't feel a thing, she kept apolgizing and I was its all good I'm completely numb. Haha. Then I kept trying to sleep as much as possible but I was so uncomfortable laying in bed and so hungry& dehydrated. Finally they came and checked me at like 4 and I was at 10cm and they said they were just gonna have me labor down so I didn't have to push forever. Then the nurse and my husband held my legs to try to get baby to move down into my birth canal, and once she stayed they called in everybody and it was time ti push baby out. I push for like 30 minutes and then Raegan Ophelia was born at 5:42pm weighing 7lbs 15oz 20.5inches long! She is so beautiful and just the sweetest baby ever. She has red hair which we were all shocked cause no one in our families has it but it must be a skipped generation thing, she is gorgeous though. I am so happy, overall my labor and delivery went pretty smooth:) thank you all for helpful answers I couldn't have survive my pregnancy without this app:)
