No you can't pass it to your husband
Thanks so much for ur comment I found out yesterday and have been so upset sense can I pass this to my husband?
Since they know they will give you an a/b. Be sure to remind them or else yes it can be bad for baby during birth. Women produce different bacteria and germs as a protection mechanism to keep them "clean" down there.Thats what the strep b is. It has absolutely didly squat to do with cleaning or being dirty. In fact its what helps keep you germ-cleanly down there so is a good thing. Some women carry it others dont and theres no rhyme or reason why and definitely no reason at all to be embarrassed for your body doing its job. As long as you remind them youre positice at delivery then youre aces. Good luck momma.
I have it and it doesn't mean your dirty at all! It's a bacteria that grows in many many many women but if it happens when your pregnant it can spread to the baby. That's why they test for it so if you do have it they can give you antibiotics when you are in labor so it doesn't end up spreading to the baby. It will not kill your baby and it does not mean your dirty and your baby will be fine
