crying??

Is crying a lot bad for baby? Just had some bad news and my boyfriend is worried that my crying is bad for the baby

I agree with the woman above me...it's about the stress more so than the crying. The harder and longer you cry...you're probably stressing yourself more. It's fine to have crying spells. But whatever is bothering you, figure that out and address so you can let it go. I have a depression problem, but every time I start to really stress I stop and think how it's affecting the baby and it makes me calm down a bit.

I think it is fine to cry for baby.  They are well insulated and one can't just turn off emotions.  Crying has nothing to do with pregnancy.  It's more about your stress level.  what can you do to de stress or help with the sadness?  What would make you feel any better?  But crying is not bad to do when pregnant.  good luck

i dont see how cryinf affects anything not on ur face...but if ur hysterically crying i could see putting stress on ur LO

I know its difficult but sometimes we need to be strong for the baby sake.
Every time i went through a bad phase i told myself that i don't have the right to stress the little one in my womb.
