and walking is the best thing for u..The more u walk the quicker u feel better.Sounds crazy but its true
I had my daughter August 15 via c section and it was not as bad as i thought it would be.I was so scared but all turned out well.Once they give u the pain medicine your numb and dont feel anything but a little tugging but it doesnt hurt. After it was alittle sore for about 2days.The doc gave me percocet which really helped with any discomfort.I was walking a day later, just slowely.
I'm a ftm & yesterday was my first c section. All I can tell you, is you will be okay :) . I took it like a champ but I am a litter sore now . But hey it will all be worth it when you get to meet your little bundle of joy. I wish you the best :) .

Csection is different for every female ...I've had 2 and will be having my 3rd in January via csection as well....I recover good with hardly no pain no discomfort I think it's just as how pain tolerant u are...I was walking like normal like no operation had happened....and sitting on my hospital bed like nothing didn't really ask for pain medication really but yes u do need help when recovering no cooking stay away from the stove due to the heat it's bad for u ...good luck
Im having my 3rd c section nov 10th. Its not as bad as u think. You wont feel anything during the surgery. The recovery does suc* really bad. It does hurt to sneeze laugh move etc u will need help. Advise- dont wait til ur in pain to take ur pain meds. Take it 30min b4 the other wears off. The key to recovery is to WALK WALK WALK it hurts but u gta try with all ur might. Good luck
also, instead of the normal 6 weeks off they extend it to 8 weeks (at least in MO it was 8 weeks, but my son went to daycare & me back to school at 6 weeks). & its not so much of not being able to do nothing, but taking it real easy because of where the surgery is done. it makes it hard to stretch, sneeze, laugh, etc.
You can do it! I had a c-section with my first after being induced and trying natural. After feeling both labor pains and a c-section recovery, I am half tempted to schedule a c section! But do keep in mind it will probably be at least 2 weeks before you can get around normally so I would ask for help!
Its a scary thought but it's not scary as you think. you're completely numb and feel absolutely nothing but pressure, i had my csection 3 years ago (but im having a vbac this pregnancy)
How long were u not able to do much? Yes i may get help tanks so much for the info
Yes I was left awake they just numb you from stomach to feet and it's best if you have help after delivery
Iv a 15 month old and i dont wana leave her to long and im not gona b able give her same attentiion. Not lookn forward to the pain!! Im been left awake were u?
Its is scary I had one with my first but advise bring some very loose close after getting out that way it wouldn't put so much pressure in the cut you will be in a lot of pain after the numbing starts to go down but its all worth it in the end.
I feel you I'm 37 weeks will be 38 tomorrow and I have my scheduled c section on November 7th.. I'd also would like to hear some stories
