curious ?

I'm dye next Thursday and I've seen a lot of mom's get ultrasounds to estimate the baby's weight , my doctor has not done one since I was 28 weeks . I don't even know how much my baby even weights ! but do they even check the weight before baby is born ?

It really all depends on your insurance and Dr. With my first I never got a third ultrasound. I had one at 9 weeks and then 20 weeks. With this pregnancy I will be getting a third, I have different insurance this time. I'm 37 weeks and 1 day.

My last ultrasound with my first was at 20 weeks. I was never given an estimated weight either. And even though she measured 2 weeks ahead, according to the measurements of my stomach they took each apt, she only weighed 7lb 15oz

Some docs do u/s regularly to see the baby's weight. My last u/s was at 35 weeks. Most of the time they don't do an u/s before delivery, you'll just be told how much baby weighs once he/she is here :)
