i see many women comment saying that recieved free things from their health insurances...im curious to know if anyone has recieved a breastpump, etc from their insurances, what insurance did you guys have?
i have private insurance w/ my mom and i asked her if i can get something free from our insurance and she thinks we cant./:

just called and they said they do cover, just need a doctors prescription (which is used to confirm pregnancy to the breat pump companys) this made my day, now i dont have to go out and buy a breast pump :)

@AnnaLloyd i have anthem blue cross, not sure if there the same insurance but im really hoping i can any type of breast pump covered.

I haven't checked myself but I heard that Obama's new laws required insurances companies to cover a beast pump. I myself haven't actually looked into it but my sister in law got a brand new medela pump this year she has blue cross blue shield it covered it the whole cost of the pump..... maybe something to check into???

^^ I wonder if Unitedhealthcare is the same in all states. I'm from Pennsylvania and Ive been meaning to call them to ask if they cover one.

When I was pregnant I had healthchoice and tricare for insurance. They don't offer anything free.

I have UnitedHealthcare in florida. Only requirement is you must be producing milk.
