umbilical cord question: just wondering...

How likely is it for my babies umbilical cord to be around its leg? I'm 37+5 weeks and feel my baby sometimes kicking strongly on the left side of my belly. Does that mean that it's leg is stuck or is it just kicking hard? I had a non stress test done at 35 weeks and everything was fine. Just curious as this is my first pregnancy.

I did have an ultrasound done that same day and everything was fine.

Did you get and ultrasound? You can usually see that. But if not, it's pretty unlikely just based on baby kicking in one spot. Much more likely to just be kicking you in an area you can feel more than others. Try not to get to worried about what ifs, they'll drive you crazy! :)

Its possible but not too likely. Most likly the baby is just kicking really hard and stretching out
