Premature worry

So I am 33 weeks n I'm worried my little girl will come early, just because of the fact I was born a month premature. And this is my first baby. Any signs I should watch for? Should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry, preterm labours are not genetic. Infact according to statistics because this is your first pregnancy you are most likely to go over your due date.

When I was in l&d for contractions at 25 weeks I asked the same thing (I was a month early n my sister 2 months). I wad told that prematurity isnt genetic, but labor may be similar to how your mom labored, because your hips may be close to the same

I was born a month premature as well. My baby boy was born just two days before his due date. I'm pretty sure it's not genetic.

I don't think there's any relation to you being early and her, but even iif she is early, at 33 weeks she would survive- she'd just take longer to get used to sucking on her own
