delivery...

What was your first delivery like? And how old were you? Are certain age ranges easier for birth...? I just can't stop trying to "mentally" prepare myself for February when baby comes..

I was 18 & a week over due when my contractions woke me up on a Friday morning. They were terrible but didn't become unbearable until that night (Saturday morning-1am). Got the epidural immediately but wasn't dilated enough to push until Sunday morning so it wore off already. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - STILL TRAUMATIZED!!!! But in the end, my prince was born on mothers day & is as perfect as perfect can be. -terrified to deliver again though. Lol

You will live! Haha... I was 20 and pre prego I was 110 and at 9 months I was 140. I'm very small but delivered after 14 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing. I had the epidural. My advice... Push hard no matter what the pain. Its not that bad and obviously you want a speedy delivery!

I was 17 and only in labor for 6 hours and pushed for 30 minutes. The epidural gave me the shakes really bad too but i dilated so quickly that it didnt have time to wear off before i had to start trying to push. I never really prepared myself, but once i was in the hospital i guess in a way i was just ready! But Dont worry, whatever happenes you'll do GREAT!!

Yea it gave me the shakes bad. They eased up a bit as my body got use to it but the nurses said sometimes its a side effect.

24 when I had my first...she was a week overdue lol I had to be induced etc 24 hrs later I had my daughter naturally... But I'm a rare exception I can't really feel pani (high tolerancy) so labor was a breeze felt nothing. Experience was great. This time around hoping I do not go overdue again. The waiting was annoying!

The epidural caused you to get the shakes??

I hope things go smoothly..lol were all of you nervous when it came time? Or are you just to busy on the pain to have anytime to feel nervous?? Lol I'm glad your guy's babies are good too btw!(:

I was 16 when I had my first, it was pretty rough but prolly bc she was a healthy 8 pounds 15 ounces. Lol I had gotten my epidural really early and it wore off by the time it was time to push. I definitely wasnt mentally prepared for birth. But she was full term and very beautiful and healthy and now my princess is 3 !

My first was at 19 I got pitocin because after my water broke I had no contractions.. my second pregnancy my water ruptured at 26 weeks and I had to be on bedrest at the hospital. My baby decided to come at 30 weeks. It was tough but she will be 5 in Jan.. I was 22 at the time.. this time around all I can hope for is to carry full term.

I had my first at 18, I was 39+4 weeks when she broke my water. I got stuck dialating at 3cm so I got pitocin as well, I had a horrible time tbh, ended up getting the epidural and being in labor for almost 18 hours. Also needed a blood transfusion as well.
I'm deff asking for the epidural sooner this time around and going to be more prepared, deff wasn't ready the first time!!
