depo injection

How soon after giving birth can you get it? And is it still safe to breastfeed after getting it?

Where I live you have to wait 6 weeks for any birth control.

I had to wait 2 weeks before they would give it to me just so my body could start getting better from giving birth. And they say it's safeto bbreastfeed with it but I would ask just to be safe

Yeah been on it too give to me before I left the hospital I guess it depends on the hospital or the doctor

Really? I heard you had to wait a few weeks until your body recovers, i've been on this injection before, I hated actually getting it done but its the only birth control that stops your periods

I hated the depo.... but I truly just hate birth control in my body

Before you leave the hospital yes its still safe to breastfeed
