I see :( things work completely different wer I live :(
Hope u find a home soon X
I xant remember what is stands for off the top of my head.
But look into the ywca and see what they can do. I was told they have family shelters and family housing
My bd gets ssi and is unable to work. I am 25 weeks and just got a job today. My son is due in late november so hopefully we can save up enough money to take care of getting an apartment. He also gets disability housing but to live with him automatically disqualifies me for subsidized housing.
Right. Thats just crazy to me.so on top pf all this being stressful on me and my bd its jist making us argue cause hes making me feel like nothing i do is good enough. And trust me before i got pregnant i always worked. Makes it so mucb harder when you cant work and have to depend on him
I am gaving tge same problem. I was told by my social worker at dshs that they housing authorities dont really worry about pregnant women but once baby is born there is a rush to get them into housing. Which i find completely rediculous because it puts a bunch of stress on the pregnant women and stress is not good for the baby and also because mommy and newborn should have a safe place to go after baby is born.
We could save up right now but im scared by the time we get our money saved the apt wont be available :( were not homeless yet but soon we will be. Its so stressful. Im on a waiting list at another apt but its taking forever to. I need to have one before she gets here
Is there any way to save the deposit etc??
Could you stay were u are n save up to move? :(
Feel sorry for you can only imagine how stressful it is... but at least your not homeless :(
