Good suggestions-- a journal is an excellent way to get out feelings and emotions and music can be soothing as well as energizing!
Im 15 so our comping may be different but I find that a long walk around sunset (so the heat isn't too terribly excruciating) is very nice and calming and it really lightens my mood.
I know how hard it is to want to or have the energy to do things but trt going oit with your boyfriend to a movie or just pick a day where you guys can cuddle and hold eachother and watch movies.
I also find writing to be very helpful and listening to music as well can drag me out of my darkest moments.
As for the eating thing I have not found a remedy for even myself.
But when I feel like eating I eat as much as I can.
And when I don't but know I need to eat I make chocolate milk and sip on it.
Hi there. So sorry to hear this! Losing interest in doing things, lethargy and lack of appetite are all classic symptoms of depression. I recommend that you talk to your doctor about this.
I can tell you to just get up and do something but I know that is so hard if you are really depressed.
Hormones in pregnancy can cause some women to be depressed. So, talk to your doctor.
If you can exercise, it really does help. It releases a happy hormone in the brain that fights stress. It also can ultimately give you better energy.
And just tell your boyfriend that you are going through a rough patch and are going to talk to your doctor about it.
Hang in there. Do talk to your doctor. And there are many ladies here at med help that are happy to listen or help if they can. peace
