did ur baby sleep in the crib the first weeks???

So my room is not huge, we are sharing it with my daughter since we live with my bfs parents just to save money anyways we have our own beds...
If we get the crib thats really all that we can fit in this room after all we have already, did you let your baby sleep in their crib the same night of getting home?

My son slept in a bassinet right next to my bed. I wish I'd known about the cosleepers though! I could never sleep with him in my bed cause I'm terrified of SIDS and accidentally smothering him, but I'd love to have him that close. I just saw some at a kids resale store for 15-20 dollars.

We bought a pack n play with bassinet add-on. Was $100. This is what ours will sleep in the first few weeks next to our bed. It's a cheaper option if you're not ready to get a crib. They are nice! But yeah, ours will sleep in our room for a bit.
