dirty looks

I am so tired of going to the store with my boyfriend and getting constant dirty looks. I am 19 years old. I'm not 12. I mean I look young. But don't assume. Nothing makes me more mad especially now. Uh. This old woman in her lil chair stopped to look at my belly as I was walking by. These 2 women stopped their conversation to stare. And some other women walked by staring at my belly and shaking her head no. How disrespectful. Why are people so rude???

Why do people frown upon us being a mother? What has the world come to.  I guess we will just stop populating.  18 is old enough to be a mom so long as you can do it. Of course I ended up having to go at it alone because the guy is scared to be a dad but I am in college and all that....if someone wants more kids why do they say stuff like stop getting pregnant maybe they wabt lots of amazing loveable children around the house...sorry just people in this generation aren't understanding all they do is judge...

My sister was 14 when she got pregnant with her first child. She ALWAYS got looks, but she didnt let then effect her and how happy she was to be becoming a mother. People are jjst rude and disrespectful. Im 19 years old and look only about 15 and Im surprised I havent got a look yet, but Im not very big either, but the day someone does look at me, it'll be hard for me not to say something to them. Keep your head up and ignore them. You dont have to explain yourself to them, they dont even know you, so why let their attitudes get to you? Your happy and thats ALL that matters. (:

I'm 21 due with my third in April. I'm married to the father of ALL of my children and we live on our own without government assistance. I had my first child at 18 so they're all 15 months apart, but I STILL get the dirty looks, whispers, and the "Christians" (people I also do not know approaching me) encouraging me to stop getting pregnant and come to church, like what's with that? I go to church and have a strong relationship with God but yet they seem to think I must be in need of some devign intervention. It's so ridiculous, our children are very well taken care of and none of these people have any idea what our life is like, so I just brush it off. People like that know they have their own issues and it makes them feel better to belittle a happy mother, just shake it off and ignore it, do what's best for you and your baby, that's all you can do. Good luck :)

Wow, pregnancy isn't something to dredge. I never care what looks I get. I'm 18 and pregnant with my first, I'm married but wasn't when I got pregnant and I've always walked around feeling only pride for my child inside my ever growing belly. I don't notice or care for any dirty looks. Who cares what they think. It will only affect you if you let it :)

Screw other people when they act like that or give you looks ! I always ignore stuff like that because it will only make me more upset and on the other hand I will never see those people again! It took me a while to get to this point I'm at in life (not caring what people think)..but believe me- its so worth it not having a care in the world about me, myself and the people who really matter in my life. ..its been such a relief! All you ladies keep your head up and stop giving 2 cents about negative people who wanna bring you down !

I was pregnant with my first baby at 20 and I was married when I got pregnant. I still got dirty looks and ppl would stop me and ask how old I was and then tell me how we should have waited till we were alittle older before we stared a family. I had my 2nd baby a just a year after my first and ppl would always have rude comments. I am now pregnant with baby #3 baby #2 & baby #3 will be 2 1/2 years apart and I still have comments like did u want another baby or was it an accident or ur poor body why would u put ur self through that and the looks. I think ppl just like to to judge. It doesn't matter how old or if u were married ppl r just rude.

Yeah I still get strange looks. I'll have two kids by 18 but it doesn't bother me. I continued my education and everything I need. Only difference between me and normal teenagers is I already have everything I'll ever need and they're still searching for it. People are so horrible,  being a mum is the best thing ever regardless of age. Just stare at them back and dart your eyes from face to belly so they think you think they're pregnant to lol. That'll teach them

People tend to judge without any information on the matter.  I'm so sorry what some of you went through.  I thought the looks I got was bad... :/

I was 15 through my first pregnancy. Some old lady tapped her husband's shoulder pointed at me and said how disgusting. It was so horrible.

I used to get that, alot. My baby's father isn't in the picture though, so I wear a diamond ring on my hand to make people think I'm married which seems to make being prego young more acceptable to them. It helps me, and if someone still has the balls to say something to me, I just smile real big and tell them how me n his daddy are so excited, that we've been trying for so long to have our first!! If they're gonna talk, give em something to talk about ;)

You probably just look younger than you are. But seriously people are sooo disrespectful these days. I know how you feel.  They stare at me too. I'm 18. How many weeks are you?
