kinda worried...

No judgement please. So I'm overweight as it is n now that I'm rounding the corner to my due date doc is worried about the baby's weight as well. He says he cant measure good enough because of my size so he ordered another u/s on my next visit on the 26th. I will be just over 36 weeks. He said if baby looks too big that we will start talking csec. I'm terrified for that. I really don't want a csec because I had so many issues with a small surgery before...idk what to do...anyone else have a similar experience?

I am a big girl too. I had my first one natural and will have this one natural too. I am like you the thought of a c section scares me.

Thanks for the advise everyone. I'll keep all of it in mind when I go in on the 26th.

Yeah I wouldn't under any circumstances let my doc try n scare me into an unnecessary csection.. He may have his own reasons to wanting to just do a cesection on you.. Maybe in his experience bigger women take longer to push the baby out and he doesn't want to deal with it.. I by no means know if that is even true I was just throwing an example of some lame reason he might be pushing for a section.. And also women have large babies vaginally all the time, my mothers 5th child was 13lbs 11 oz she wasn't fit and in shape when she had him, granted she wasn't very overweight, but still.. My point is don't let yourself be bullied and manipulated.. You're  the patient and the one have the baby, it should be about you and what you want, not what the doctor wants..

The choice is yours if you say no he can not make you. Your weight has no bearing on your ability to push. Tons of women push big babies. I would try and then if not successful have the csection but I would not plan one.

That's what he said the problem would be. If baby is too big he doesn't want me to risk pushing...idk what to do to convince him to let me try...

Those growth scans for weight are always off. My daughter was going to be 10lbs from the scan and was only 8. Many doctors try to scare women into csectons. Unless there is a strong medical reason that you can't push or the baby will be in danger don't do it.
