It's fine sleeping how you want. I even slept on my stomach. As you start getting bigger you will notice it gets more and more uncomfortable to sleep on your stomach and eventually you will just realize it's usually more comfortable to sleep on your left side. I guess it gives them more oxygen and doesn't cut off the blood flow. But for me the way my baby likes to position himself at night, can't sleep any other way
Thank you ladies. I know I'm so early but I'm always caution and idk why :/
I'm 26 weeks and try to sleep on my side but back is usually most comfortable. Ya know they didn't seem to have all these rules back in the day and we are all fine?
I'm 28 weeks and at this point no other side is comfortable to sleep on than my left. I can't really breath very well when I sleep on my right side and it's hard to breath when I'm laying on my back :/
Left is best, right is just fine. Not a good idea to sleep flat on your back past 18-20 weeks or so. But you've got a long way to go before you have to start worrying about it. Your uterus isn't anywhere near big enough to put pressure on your arteries yet.
