Pregnancy night sweats are similar to hot flashes, although they take place during the night as a woman sleeps as opposed to hot flashes that occur during the day. Night sweats during pregnancy, which is also known as "nocturnal hyperhydrosis" during pregnancy occur because the body´s temperature gauge begins to malfunction as a result of hormonal imbalance that occurs during pregnancy. Night sweats during pregnancy can become intense enough to wake a woman up night from a sound sleep, either from unbearable heat or from being drenched in sweat. This can be very disturbing since adequate sleeping is important for a healthy life. The most important way to alleviate night sweats during pregnancy is to balance the body´s hormones. The first step to control night sweats during pregnancy is to follow a healthy diet and get regular exercise. However, these tactics can not balance hormonal levels, therefore additional steps are necessary to treat night sweats during pregnancy.
I had hot flashes with my first pregnancy, but not this one. And they did start that early. I think every baby's different.
Just make sure it's really hot flashes and not a fever and you'll be fine.
