When do you know if your baby is breech or not?

I had an ultrasound this week (at 32 weeks) and the baby was head down like she was supposed to be...what's the latest she could flip and end up breech? Wondering if we're definitely in the clear.

My baby was breech at my last appt, but i'm not gonna worry just yet i'm only 25 weeks. They can move around all the way until labor starts.

In all honesty when my bub flipped somewhere between 37 weeks and 39 weeks i didn't feel it. i thought she was just kicking but she managed to do a complete turn and have her head and legs up. i think its really hard to tell sometimes but in saying that i have felt my bub this time turn a few times so it may just have been that it was my first bub and i didnt know what to expect or feel

Im 34 weeks and my lil monkey is breech...at 32 weeks he was in position but since he is so active he is now breech. My Dr isnt gonna worry till 39 weeks because she says he still has time to flip.

I'll cross my fingers. She's not too wiggly though she has her days. I have another scan tomorrow so I'll be able to see if she stayed in place this week at least.

I'm on my third, and I still can't tell.  I feel kicks all over from hands, feet, knees and elbows. I can't tell the difference between a butt and a head. The only reason I know she is head down is because I was told after my last scan.  *Most* babies will stay head down after they flip, but of course there are always exceptions.

My first baby was head down the whole time at my 37 app she was in great position then at my 38/39 week check up she had flipped. they placed me straight on monitors and tried to flip her back but there was no room. ended up needing an emergency csection.

It will depend really on how much room you have left and how wriggly baby is. My wee guy was flipping and turning a lot until recently, he doesnt seem to be flipping anymore and at my appt on fri his head was at the left side of my pelvis and his feet at my right side, high up (I'm 29wks). In my experience with my other 2 babies they tend to start staying put from about 30wks or so...fingers crossed for you! Oh and you'll almost def know if baby flips by this point because it will be extremely uncomfortable if s/he does!

You still have a few weeks before you're considered full term and she could still flip back. I'm 32 weeks and he is breech and actually is laying sideways like his head is on the right side of my belly and his feet on the left.  I would say that in the next few weeks if she hasn't flipped back you're probably OK though. I'm having a C-Section so it doesn't matter for birth but holy cow it hurts! ESP when he stretches out!
