I wanted to go natural BUT my son started stressing in the womb. So when I dilated to a 9 doctor told me epidural or c section. Most definitely didn't want a c section. I am going to try natural again with this baby. It's "bearable" if you just tell yourself it's mind over matter and with every contraction it's closer to having baby

I tried natural,  but in the end gave into the epidural....I'm doing it again with this baby.  Your best choice Is to wait till ur in labor than see how u tolerate the pain and base your decision on that

I had a completely natural birth at 40+1 on hands and knees after a 21 hour active labor with a midwife attending. It was an incredible experience, never felt so strong and powerful in my life, and I can't wait to do it again.

I didn't have an epidural with my first but I had IV meds. It was a terrible decision. This time I'll be going all natural. It's the best thing for baby and me. It is a horrid pain but you don't need painmeds. Women have been giving birth pain med free forever so I don't see why I would need them.

I had en epidural with both. The first I was induced which makes labor much more intense & the second I went naturally at 37 weeks. I was 7cm when I went to the ER and 9 by the time I got my epidural & it was very painful. I have back pain i never had before but other than that I plan on using the epidural for this third & final pregnancy.

It was bearable but since I was in labor for so long I had some to get some sleep. For me it felt like super bad period cramps

I was induced and had no epidural.

That just happened almost 2 weeks ago. .. and I still feel traumatized.

I wish I could have done it differently

Why go with no pain meds? I know there's less complications with out meds but is the pain bearable enough to where you don't need them?
