I would let your doctor know if you've been drinking them just so he/she can check on you and make sure everything is okay & put your mind at ease.

In those drinks there is something called taurine (I think that is how it is spelled) and it can cause birth defects, cause you to miscarry, have a still born, it also makes to blood flow to the placenta decrease. I did a report about the affects of energy drinks on a pregnant woman and her baby a little while ago.
Believe me I want a redbull so bad. I used to drink at least one 16 ounce a day.

The high caffeine of those drinks can cause birth defects. It can cause growth problems and much more. Do some research Google has a number of pages that can help you have a better answer to this question.

Try unsweetened iced tea, decaf but the standard "tea" flavor.  If you get a classic pekoe tea, it will certainly be bitter.

That said, my guess is that it's not the bitter flavor that has you hooked.  They don't formulate those energy drinks they way they do for nothing.  They hide all sorts of addictive ingredients in them.

They're bad for you in general, but especially while pregnant, caffeine, sugar, not to mention all the other crap like taurine. If too much of those causes large adults to have heart attacks, what do you think it'll do to your tiny little baby?

The high caffeine content and there's a million other things that are possibly bad for baby. The drinking even have a warning label for pregnant women on them
