Hi girls can ye post under here yer birth stories. Love to hear other girls stories. Wel here goes mine on my second baby my 1st lil dude us 5 now :-) Sry its been a few weeks jst only getting the time now.. I was brought in monday mornin the 24/02/14 at 8am to be induced. They started the induction straight away. So i got the first lot of gel. Got showin to a ward. Was told to walk around the hospital for a few hrs. 6 hrs later i was called back to delivery room. I was checked and noting was happening so i was giving the second lot of gel.. Wel an hour later at 3pm d pain started and was unbarable nearly straight away.. I just kept walkn around the hospital. I went back to my room around 7 that night and begged the nurse to give me somting for the pain as i was in so much pain but ther was still noting happenin down below i was stil only 1cm.. She gave me pettadine at about 10 o clock that night. So i took a bath to try relax and ease the pain. I stayed in the bath from 11 o clock that night until half 6 the next morning just topping up the hot water all night. I was on my own as they told my partner to leave that noting was gona happen until the next mornin. I was in so much pain i didn even realise i was in the bath that long. So at 7 the next mornin d nurse brought me back to the delivery room and i was checked and was 3cm so she broke my waters. I finaly then had to stay in the delivery room and got the epidural.. 2 hrs after the epidural was put in it startrd to wear off so it was topped up again but stil wouldn work properly so the pain started again. Anyway from then on i used the gas and air and at 4:34 that evening the 25/02/14 my lil man brody Lee Tracey made an apperance weighing 8lb 2oz healthy and as happy as every. Was 33 hrs of pain nd labour but was all worth it in the end :-)))

Congratulations! I always see birth stories about people being induced I feel like I'm the only one that went into labor naturally! I'll tell you my birth story (: on the 21st of march I fell asleep to very mild cramping woke up about 3 am on the 22nd cramping that was a Little worse, it definitely kept me up but i didn't worry about it cause this had been happening for weeks. I finally felt a real painful contraction at 3 pm i timed then with my mom took 5pm and they were usually 5 min apart but they were getting to 3 min apart but they were getting very painful and I left to the hospital they checked me and I was 4 cm and 90 percent effaced I felt like I waited forever for the epidural I was screaming in pain couldn't sit still but it only took then an hour to get it for me. They checked me right after I got the epidural and I was 7 cm and that was at about 7. At 12 am on the 23rd they broke my water at 9.5 cm dilated. I started pushing at 12:30 and my boyfriend and the nurse had to hold my legs up since the epidural was so strong i couldn't move them lol. I pushed for 39 minutes and my little boy was born at 109 am on the 23rd weighing 7Ilbs 1oz and 18.5in (: I was 37 weeks and 5 days
