First time mom here... I have to be at the hospital in 7 hours to be induced.... I've been excited because I'm almost 42 weeks lol but now that its about time I feel like crying and am scarred... I only hear bad induction stories:(

I was induced twice since I was overdue at 40+6 and 41+4 and they both went well! For my first, I was induced at 8am, got an epidural at 2pm, started pushing at 5pm, and gave birth at 6:01pm. For the second, I was induced at 8am, started pushing at 11:30am and gave birth at 11:45am. People say contractions are worse with induction but I have nothing to compare them to lol. Good luck! =)

My induction went fairly smoothly. I was induced at 39+3 for PROM (premature rupture of membranes, aka my water broke and labor didn't start). My pitocen was started at about eleven pm and turned off around three am when I reached five cm! I delivered around 8:30 that morning. My pushing stage s*cked because my daughter was stubbornly posterior, but everything else was okay. I went epidural free.
