A big reason they tell you not to is because with all the hormone changes going on in your body, your hair may take the color differently than it usually does. So, you may end up with a color you don't like because the hormones had a wonky affect on the end result. But otherwise, as long as its not every week and as long as you're not using a super high lift color straight on your scalp, should be fine in a well ventilated space.
I highlighted my hair rather than a full-head dye job. The foils keep the stuff from sitting on the scalp. I don't think the bleach or dye is as much of an issue as the fumes. Some doctors are more conservative on what they tell you about this than others are.
Yup. I mean, there is the small risk of something happening, but its usually only in the first trimester. I've dyed my hair multiple times during this pregnancy lol, and my hair dresser did het hair while she was pregnant also with no complications. Just make sure you're in a well ventilated area.
I dye my hair with my first & now second pregnancy I do it every 3 months as long u don't do it every weeks should be fine:)
