Light tuna in water is ok once a week need that omega 3 and steamed broccoli which i love. Packaged lunch meat is not good for you because of all the preservitives and a i stopped eating artificial butter because a new study has linked a chemical found in it to Alzheimer's disease.
My doc advised me to completely avoid Chinese food ssh it contains ajinomoto. She also asked me to give up temporarily the 3 Ps - papaya, pomegranate and pineapple.

shes not nuts.. my dr also said no hot dogs.. BUT I craved them constantly.. so i ate them lol.they also told me don't eat any sushi bc of how its prepared (around raw stuff) they told me no lunch meat but I ate it anyway and tuna 2x a week. 2 things I learned to love were eggs and peanut butter bc I have hypoglycemia and needed to eat constantly to keep my sugar from dropping. eat fruits in moderation and lots of veggies (helps with constipation ) drink LOTS of water. and just make sure everything is cooked thoroughly and you'll be fine :o) I was so particular about everything bc I couldn't eat anything with a lot of sugar or salt bc of swelling/water retention.. n its not fun to constantly read labels but you'll get used to it.
Liver, soft mould ripened cheese, swordfish, marlin, raw seafood, undercooked meats, runny eggs, unpasteurized products, paté..
Ive ate cold sandwich meat throughout pregnancy, also tuna.
Cut down on caffeine as can cause low birth weight and early labour possible miscarriage in early pregnancy.

You can eat tuna just no more than 2 small cans a week and not raw! Have to make sure all meat and eggs are cooked all the way through. Can't eat unpasturised cheese, seafood is fine as long as its cooked properly. You can look online and your find pretty good lists of what's safe and what isn't x
shrimp is fine once a week as long as it is cook...no cocktail.
The whole objective is to avoid food poisoning because the bacteria listeria isn't good for the baby, so pick what you eat wisely, if you don't trust the place or it's been sitting out for a while, don't eat it, I wouldn't stress yourself over thinking it, though!
I agree, better just ask your doctor, he's not going to give you hardly anything for a list my doctor isn't too worried about deli meats, hot dogs, tuna, etc, it's all more or a precaution than it is a strict rule, ya know? You'll be fine! :)
Also no port wine cheese:-( lol
Lol hot dogs....your nuts as long as it's FULLY cooked you can eat all the hot dogs your little heart pleases. I would just ask your doctor. Cause your going to get so many crazy answers on here like you can't eat hot dogs lol it's just what i would do.
I was told you can eat lunch meat as long as you heat it up first & same with hot dogs just make sure their cooked good. You can eat tuna as long as its chunk light in water. No albacore & only once or twice a week. Even once in awhile I'll have a sandwhich and not heat up the lunch meat and I've been fine.
Shrimp and crab only in moderations. They have iodine.
No Bologna, feta cheese that can be found in pizza and no hot dogs. You cant have anything thats not pasteurized. You can have tuna, just certain ones.
Thanks y'all and i love sandwiches and have been craving tuna or sardines
Uncooked varieties of sushi which has killed me. I have eaten a good deal of lunchmeat because I am
addicted to sandwiches. But I also am at 30x2 and have came this far with only mild naseousnesss here and there. No morning sickness or anything
dang, I've been eating all that crap
No cold cut meats unless heated to steaming. Bacteria reasons. Something I learned on this site!
Oh ****. yeah, cross that out lol
I just read an article that tuna has the highest mercury levels it has had in years, so I would avoid that
Lol trying to think of more.
Tuna and tilapia is fine once a week.
