is this late ovulation? could it be pregnant?

Can someone help me?

In the past, I have a history of having a irregular schedule. but for the past 9-10 months i have been very regular.  Now, this month i missed my period, i am now almost 2 weeks late.  i had an appointment with doc on the 21st which would usually be right before my af should start.  Doc took blood, and said my pregesterone was 0.5.  SHe said i was not ovulating. I went for another blood test yesterday, and the nurse said my pregesterone level is now 14.3.  and i am now experiencing symptoms of pregnancy.   Since the number is so much higher she tested me for pregnancy, which came out neg. Has anyone had this happen?  Is there a chance that I o'd late and is there a chance of pregnancy?

Gratefully.

Not sure yet how to post back to say thanks for your response...  well the nurse took blood on tuesday, just to check my levels, since my appoint on the 21 showed such a low level of progesterone (o.5).  SInce it came up so much higher 14+ she ran a preg test also.  Hope that makes sense, and thanks so much for your response.

Yes, there are times that our body is not on schedule. Some women do experience late ovulation.  Yes, if you ovulated late and had intercourse there is still a chance you could be preggo

Did you have a pregnancy test this months done or on the 21st of october.  Try taking another test in 1 week, for example, if you ovulated late, say the day AF was due, well implantation takes anywhere from 6-12 days after ovulation and after implantation your body needs about 5 days for the hcg levels to kick in to be detected on a HPT.

I would wait 1 week then take a test and go to dr office and have them draw your levels if your cycle has not started yet.  Good luck, keep me posted
