I had an emergency c-section one day shy of 38 weeks. I healed great, and felt great throught out the healing process. I'm pregnant with my 2nd child and plan on having another c-section.
I had my 3rd one dec 3rd and this one was the easiest to recover from. My first took a long time. The epidural hurt every ttime you feel a lot of pressure on ur chest when they push the baby out. Feels like an elephant was sitting on my chest. It will hurt to get up out of bed and go to the bathroom. Take a small pillow.with u to brace over your tummy when u try to sit up and stand. Make sure u have someone there with u at all times for the first 2 weeks.don't over do it give urself time to heal. Take ur pain meds to stay ahead of the pain especially while in the hospital even if its not that bad cuz if u move the wrong way the pain will hit ya. If u want to know more just message me. Hope this helps
Had an emergency c-section with my son and it was a horrible experience. You don't feel anything in the process, but the aftermath is bad. It took me the entire 8 weeks to fully recover. It just makes it a lot harder to get around. Its a serious surgery. Some women don't have as bad an experience as I did though. I'm now having my 2nd child and really hoping for a vbac.
