Its nothing compared to contractions!!!! I barely felt it because i was in so much pain
I just plan to stick it all the way out it may not hurt but its to risky my child needs me to be able to move and do for it
For me it wasnt a shot, they stick it in your back and it stays in your back until your deliver. It makes a world of difference though.
I didn't feel any pain at all. After the anesthesiologist was done I was like what. Is it in. Lol it was awesome
The epidural doesn't hurt for most people :
I on the other hand, have scoliosis and it's just a slight curve of my lower lumbar, so it isn't visible to the eye, only by xray and at the time I did not know, so my epidural was extremely painful and could have been very dangerous!!!
That's good to hear! And yes I definitely want to go as long as I can with out one I know there's a time window..my birthing suite has a jetted tub in it and I heard that helps a lot so I'm going to start with that lol but I'm a ftm and don't know what exactly will be best for me
Try to hold off until you can't handle the pain anymore and you won't feel it at all. I personally didn't like the tingling sensation it gives you since it just slightly makes you numb. Feels like your legs fell asleep
The epidural hurts less than the pain from contractions. It's scary but it's more scary than painful. It feels like a sharp pinch. It made the hair on my body stand up because it was sharp but it's not excruciating. Once it's in, you don't feel it anymore.
no hun, it doesn't hurt, yeah there is a pinch but thts it, contractions hurt worse.. i made it to 7.5 before getting my epidural
