Sex and labor


So I  still 80 percent effaced and not dilated for 3 weeks now and dr will induce the 31 if baby hasn't come by then and I'm jut wondering will sex work to dilate if I am not dilated at all ???? Or do you have to be dilated for it to help progress???

I'm gonna make sure of that next time lol. I am already 1cm so hopefully him going in me will make it happen faster.

make sure he releases in you its actually the semen that ripens the cervix, Ive heard orgasms help as well!

I was absolutely against having sex but I have honestly tried absolutely everything to start dilating so I wouldn't have to be induced and my dr said walk well that's all I do !!!! I'm going crazy so I am going to try sex once and hope it helps

Wish it would work or me my boyfriend an I have been having sex but he only cAm once so may e that's why no labor yet!!

Awesome I've been walking every day and haven't moved for 80 percent for weeks lol so I guess it's time to try it !!!!! Lol but it will prolly only happen this one time and I really hope it works

You can surely give it a try, you don't have to be dilated for it to work. I wasn't dilated and had sex and started contracting right after, then at my next appt I was 5cm dialated and Im positive it happened all at once that night
