when canuyou see/hear heart beat?

Im just wondering how far along everone was when you had your dating scan/saw and heard babys heart beat? Ive had positive home and blood tests and think im only aboit 4 weeks and my doctor said to wait another 2-3 weeks to have ultrasound. Its going to be the longest 2-3 weeks ever!! Lol

I was 10weeks, my OB wanted to make sure I was far enough along to defiantly hear it because if they do it too early you may not be able to hear it and it scares moms.

i had my scan at exactly 7 weeks and i got to see the heart beat and my tiny itty bitty baby. i have a picture of it on my profile. it was a cute fast flickering and it was honestly the best feeling in the entire world. but some doctor are different. mine did it as soon as possible because i had a miscarriage before this pregnancy. good luck! :)
