experience mom's (maternity leave)

I'm a 1st time mom so I was wondering when is it a good time to put in for my maternity leave i am due april 30th and when is it a good time to leave work I want to at least be gone for 3 months or is that too much time to be off i feel like it's good enough because this is my 1st child Idk help anybody

Work as long as you can! So you can have those three months with your baby! If you sit at home a month before your baby comes that last month will be the longest month ever! I have a month left tomorrow! Still working 11 hour shifts in a warehouse, it's hard, don't get me wrong but it will be worth it! I might take off the last week, because warehouse work isn't fun lol
