Not from what I've read and been told. It just seems that it's considered as taboo as breastfeeding in general, so there's a lot of misinformation floating around. If you'd like I can try and find the big article I read on it and message it to you?

It's actually perfectly safe to breastfeed and drink. You'd have to drink to the point of alcohol poisoning before it could become enough to harm your baby. The way it goes through your system very little, if any, from one drink gets in to your milk. If you're concerned, it's recommended that you drink during a feed or immediately following so the alcohol has the longest amount of time to get through your system. It won't get in to your milk as you drink it because the milk was already formed at that point and the alcohol is only just entering your body.
