Just found out I may be having a baby girl, are my chances still high?!

Well I had an appt today with my doctor and my doctor said it looked like I'm having a beautiful baby girl! With me being 16+2 the told me it was still early and can change but it looks like a girl! Am I safe to go off that or should I give it a bit more time?! Anyone been in this predicament?

I would hold off on buying stuff til later bc at 18 wks u/s tech said she was 100% sure it was girl then at 21 week appt Dr did u/s & it was def a lil baby boy & now at 30 weeks he's still a boy! Just glad I kept receipts to take all the girl stuff back

I see now her bottom was above the left hip.. not right lol

Awww amazing stories and the screen was to far away to see the three lines (plus my bad eye sight lol) but when they did scan above my right hip (same place I see) I could see her bottom and nothing lied between the legs so I can see how they determined it but I guess I'll be confirmed in three weeks. I have just heard stories where the doctor read it was a girl during the time of determination til last ob appt and at birth it was a baby boy lol.

Did you see the 3 line sign? My son is four and we found out at 16 weeks you could see bumps down there lol. I am 17+3 and had an ultrasound last Thursday and they went right above my left hip and it was right under her like she was sitting on the scan. Well there were no bumps just 3 lines. So little miss Lainey Evelynn will hopefully be here before daddy leaves for bear camp!

I always think.that anything is possible :) I heard couple of people saying that the tech was wrong... So I always try to be open lol even when they confirmed it twice lol

I was told at 15 weeks that it is a girl.and they confirmed it at 21 :) hopefully she is still a girl at birth.haha
