Am I the only one whos really scared of getting a C-section? I hate blood, and just the thought of them cutting my stomach open makes me wanna throw up. I know i dont have a choice, if something goes wrong, but its been on my mind since i found out i was pregnant lol. Hoping for a regular vaginal birth! !!!!

Actually, my scar is not noticeable! Out of everything that went "not so right", they did a great job on that! And all my friends with multiple kids say their vaginas are fine! One friend told her husband he can't look b/c he wouldn't be able to loom at her the same! Lol. But either way vaginal or csection... Pain or no pain... Once you see your baby, it's with it :) they say you forget the pain when you see your baby, I didn't forget the pain but it just didn't seem like a big deal after that :) its definitely an experience that will make you stronger. You go through a lot creating that life inside you and you go through a lot to bring that life to the world. And its awesome!

Yea. My daughters birth was... Unique! The Dr put the needle in too far for .y epidural which gave me a spinal headache for 1 week. (Only happens to 2% - laying down and caffeine help) then after 12 he's of labor my bp was too high so needed a csection. The spinal was done too high and I was unable to breath (he said that this was the 3rd time in the 14 years he had been doing this! My lucky day I guess!) So anyway my insicion was infected and I would be in tears getting in and out of bed/chair. After 1 1/2 weeks it ripped open. Awful feeling but after it ripped I felt relieved, felt better and I was healed a week after. The odds of everything that happened in mine were supposedly low, I was just one of the few. My coworker said by day 4 she was as good as normal! So if I'm not able to do vbac I hope the rest of my csection are smooth sailing! If not, oh well... I'll do it again!

They had to. Messed up on the spinal so they put me under and did emergency csection. Like I said mine was not a good experience!

My csection was horrible. Ended up being put completely under. Hoping for vbac this time. Either way I am nervous. Never experienced vaginal birth or being awake for a csection! Healing from my csection also did not go well. But everyone is diff. It did not scare me away from having more babies! As long as my babies are healthy, I'm happy!

I had all my kids vaginaly and I want to with this one but my daughter passed away at 7 weeks and I've had to causes of death one being SIDS and the other being streppoccaucus phenomena which if that was the case she caught while in the womb or in the birth canal on the way out I'm very undecided on which form of delivery I want I may opt for a c section though..

It really isn't that bad. I think the way some people portray it makes it sound Just AWFUL bit in all reality your just laying there,  can't see anything except your partner & you don't feel anything except pressure.. Like someone pressing down on your tummy lightly.  Then BAMM.. Baby is out and crying & it's all over. Your on pain medication so pain isn't even a factor until a few days later & even then it isn't too bad honestly. I'll be having my 3rd c section Tuesday & call me crazy but im actually looking forward to it.

I'm terrified of having a C-Section. Everything about it. I'm scared for myself, the thought of being cut open and all the pain I'll be in. And I feel like it would scare the baby..
