breastfeeding is best for baby, it has everything in it that baby needs and they cannot make formula the same, yes breastfeeding can hurt abit at the start, but hey, no pain, no gain, as well as the enormous benefits to your baby, it will also benefit you as other have sai, especially in helping you to loose the pregnancy weight, just google benefits of breastfeeding and that will give you some idea :)

Breastfeeding is much healthier for u and baby. It has so many pros to it. You can always pump and freeze your milk tho so you don't have to breastfeed every time tho and others can bottle feed your baby if need be. It is much cheaper too and some babies can't handle formula anyways. My sister had a difficult time cuz her son was allergic to dairy so she couldn't eat dairy or he would break out from her milk but she just cut out the dairy and he was totally fine after. She breastfed both her kids til after they turned a year old. I agree with previous post about the immune system thing tho that if there is a sickness going around your body will add the needed antibodies to your milk to protect the baby from sickness so they don't get it and you can't get that from formula. I would really research the pros of breastmilk from formula because its got about 3 times the amount of things in it that formula doesn't. Give it a try tho in the beginning because the first milk you produce is the best for baby to get.

I had the same problem my fiance wanted me to breastfeed but I heard your nipples hurt really bad doing so. Lol but once I got preggo I just decided I will go with breastfeeding. Much cheaper, and healthier for it. Plus I wanted him to feel like he had a say in it n be happy. (: good luck

You're going to have to try it and see which you prefer, I had a bad experience with breastfeeding so I will be doing formula plus that way my hubby can do feedings too but my mother breastfed all 4 of us and loved it.

with breastfeeding there are lots of benefits for you and baby=), like weight loss, bonding with baby, it dont matter how much you feed them with the breast, and it dont cost a thing=). with formula, you would only be able to feed the baby exactly every 3 hours because it can make them bigger when they get older and it costs so much more. with the breastfeeding you can lay down and feed them and go back to sleep and with formula you kinda cant.
i breastfed my son for 1year and 1week after his first bday=) and at 10months old he had all his teeth in and he rarely bit me but he was a champ when he was first born=). with my daughter i breastfed her for 4months because i had to go to school so it was kinda hard keeping on that=). but i feel that my son is more attached to me than my daughter is because i breastfed him longer than her.   my suggestion is try it out first with the breastfeeding, i told my close friend that and after he was born and now that he is 2 weeks she is still breastfeeding him=) and this was just recent.

Obviously you know the benefits of BF...and its my personal preference...but wait till the baby is born and see how it goes...its one of those things...it either works for you and your lifestyle or it doesnt...never hurts to try :)

I'm a big fan of breastfeeding and that's my plan, but I honestly wouldn't let us or your fiance sway you. Do what makes sense for you. I think it's a really personal decision, breastfeeding does take serious commitment because only you can feed the baby for at least a month, and at the beginning they eat every hour and a half to two hours...I think the positives outweigh the negative, but not every woman would. It's kind of funny, but beyond the bonding and the health benefits for the baby, it was the price of formula that swayed me lol. It's crazy expensive. ;)

Formula feeding is more convenient (from what I have been told), but I heard breastfeeding is much more beneficial. I heard it can help build up your baby's immune system, have less stinky poops, reduce the chance of colic, it has been associated with higher IQ's, helps mothers lose weight after the baby is born, the milk in your body is specially designed for your baby's spefiic needs, lowers risk of ear infections in babies, helps decrease chance of the mother getting ovarian cancer, breast milk contains no synthetic growth hormones....and the list goes on and on. I got this information from www. infactcanada .ca

Breast feeding is cheaper #1 lol, but it's your choice :-).
I'd give it a chance at least, you'd have to give it about a month honestly just because it can be awkward for a little while.
With my first child I almost gave up because of the awkward feeling,.but for some reason it got way easier after about three weeks.  If you aren't comfy with it after then don't sweat it.  It doesn't make you a bad person.
If you just want to straight up bottle feed from the start you aren't a bad mom (and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, there are some lactation crazies out there!! Lol)
Just do what you feel comfortable doing.

Breastfeeding is good for babies skin, less colics, less constipation, and much more. Its even good for you less risk on having breast cancer in the future. Good thing your husband is supportive in that situation wanting you to breastfeed. Its such a good bond you have with your lil angle. I love breastfeeding!!
